Founder and Owner

Michael Wahlert is a founder and owner of Orca Consulting. Michael earned his Civil Engineering degree at Iowa State University with honors. Then went on to work for a private firm where he completed his professional training and earned his Professional Engineer (PE) designation. Along with the PE designation, Michael also is an Iowa Certified Construction Site Pollution Prevention Inspector (ICCSPPI) along with BOMA RMA and SMT designations.

Currently sitting as the Chairman of the Van Meter, Iowa Planning and Zoning Commission and has been a member of the P&Z Commission for over 7 years.
